Work Related Asbestos Disease
Maurice Jardin was diagnosed with the asbestos related cancer mesothelioma in June this year. Mr Jardin has since been campaigning about the dangers of coming into contact with asbestos. Sixty Four year old Mr Jardin was due to retire when he received the news of his diagnosis. He has now started campaigning to highlight the danger asbestos poses and is also contacting his old work colleagues to inform them of the risk. Continue reading

False Personal Injury Claims Uncovered
A criminal has been jailed for attempting to claim a certain amount of compensation from several London boroughs for fake injuries stemming from accidents that never happened. Does Legal Aid Have A Future?
The British Law Society announced plans to launch a judicial review over plans the Legal Services Commission introduced in August to change the way family law contracts are tendered. The new regulations will mean a huge change to how the family court system is funded and will have a big effect on the many people who have in the past used legal aid to help fund their legal expenses.
